At Level IV, we start with building wider movement vocabulary and throughout the year, the students will concentrate on the placement of the back, as well as, strengthening the legs and feet. We pay more attention to the student’s turnout and stability throughout the year in order to make sure they can feel and understand their limitations. At this level, we should also begin to address the coordination of steps and introductory to musicality.
At Level V, students will learn how to transition from one movement quality to the next. We will begin to challenge students to learn exercises faster and implementing exercises that will prepare them for bigger jumps and multiple turns.
