Academy Performance Series

The Academy is Spectrum Dance Theater’s intensive program for dedicated students, ages 14-21, who are interested in training for possible careers in dance. This three year program is highly unique: it stands alone as the only professional contemporary dance training program for aspiring dancers in the region – offering students the highest quality of instruction. And the Academy is the Northwest’s only such program associated with a world-class professional contemporary dance company -- led by dance legend Donald Byrd. This exciting affiliation opens up many special opportunities for learning , mastery and artistic development.
