A contemporary re-envisioning of the classic puppet-loves-girl tragedy set to Stravinsky. Byrd’s interest in the universal human impulse toward brutality inspired a staging that the Seattle Times lauded for its “… gritty rawness, taking the audience to a place where anguish and despair are felt in primary colors.”
